Joseph is perfect and intelligent in every way. He needs help feeling confident but that will come with time. He has mastered sit and is progressing with other commands like come, down, and wait. He’s potty trained on his own time so a doggy door might be a really nice bonus! He stays close to his chosen humans and loves to hog the bed. He needs interactive toys or he will become destructive. He thrives with mental stimulation over physical. He wants to smell things, learn things, and chew things. We hide treats in toys and that keeps him occupied for HOURS. His ideal family would have a backyard fenced or unfenced (only because he is not a fan of the leash) and is willing and able to challenge him. He is not the dog that the basic training will be enough for!! He will want to learn tricks and commands and have a job!
