Zoey

Zoey is a gentle and loving dog who loves to play with balls, swim and enjoy the outside. She does well with adults and older kids but doesn't like smaller children who don't know how to use gentle hands or get into her face, pull her tail or try to climb on top of her. She is perfectly happy to lounge around all day or hand out outside chasing squirrels. She is afraid of thunder, flies (she got stung in the face by bees multiple times so she is afraid of the sound a fly makes). Her fear manifests usually as her shaking and trying to hide under something. She needs patience and takes a bit of time to trust new people, so her new home would need to be patient and loving and give her time as she is very connected to our family.
