Hi, my name is Alba! I'm a gorgeous 8 month old German Shepherd mix, full of spunk! I love playing with doggy friends and am such a happy pup! MFP gave me my freedom ride from the shelter even though I had a broken front leg. We were all hoping for the best unfortunately, my leg was not able to be corrected with surgery and now I am a three-legged survivor! But don't worry, I know that once I'm healed I'll be just as energetic and playful as I was before.
I will be a big girl when I am fully grown (60+ lbs) and will need a fenced yard for safe play. An adopter with shepherd and/or large dog experience is a must. And if you have experience or a willingness to learn about taking care of a tripawd, I would love for you to consider adopting me!
Foster mom says:
Alba is so sweet and Gentle. She’s potty trained and lets you know when she wants to go outside. She willingly goes in her cage to lay down but she also loves to snuggle on the couch. She’s a very good listener and responds to “no” when you want her to put down something she shouldn’t have. She loves to follow you around and she loves going outside. I keep her walks short just because she’s down one leg so her other front leg will take some time to strengthen up. She’s super friendly with other dogs. She barely barks and her little tail is always wagging.

All Dogs/ Puppies/ Cat/ Kittens are up to date on everything as far as vaccines Spay/Neuter and Flea/Heartworm Prevention. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there is a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee -Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Mercy Full Project cover vet bills, maintain their facility and cover the cost of their operations to rescue more animals in need
