Buck is:

-Sweet/Kind
-Smart/Intelligent

Buck gets along well with others dogs and could use more socialization as he does not appear to know how to play. He is very loving and will approach for pets. He sweetly closes his eyes and truly enjoys being petted. Buck walks well on the leash, but will bolt if a door is left open and will take himself for a walk/jog. We are working on setting boundaries around the door. He does know his name and will come. We haven't mastered sit and not sure how far we will get since even pushing on his hind he refuses. Buck does have the sweetest face and is still very much a puppy. I would recommend a family that is very active to help this Ridgeback/Healer dog get his energy out. Also, a family who is willing to take the time to teach basic commands. Buck is very smart and affectionate and does very well with our senior dogs and our 9 year old.
