Chase

He is so sweet and loving to his owners and will be loyal to the end. He is the most excited dog in the world when we get up or come home it’s as if he hasn’t seen us in a year (even after 30 minutes!). He gets a toy in his mouth immediately to show us and shakes his whole body with happiness while doing little “arroo” talking noises if he doesn’t have a toy in his mouth yet! He sleeps by the door or entranceway to the room we are in whenever possible and especially at night to watch out for us. He is caring and if he thinks I’m in pain or sick he will come and sniff me then lick me until he is sure I’m alright. At which point he will lay with me. He is house broken except for some accidents here and there related to stress or anxiety as he is anxious by nature but he tries so hard to not do that and it’s gotten almost totally fixed since putting him on fluoxetine 20mg once a day. He doesn’t need this though and can function without it if necessary I just felt it helped a bit for the anxiousness he felt when doggie supplements didn’t. He seems less on edge. He is also pad trained for times when I’m not home for longer than anticipated although he tries very hard to not go on the pads as well when we leave him with them in case. He does not leash walk well that has always been a struggle but I think in the course of training for the other issues this will also become easier as I feel they all have the root of anxiousness and fear. He is amazingly smart and has the biggest heart of any dog I have ever seen.
