Hi! Im Cherry! Im aroind 2 years old and a jack Russell terrier mix.
They say jack russells are super smart and loves to please their humans. Well I can say I'm all that plus a whole lot more! Im sweet and gentle and I stick to you like glue! There's no other place I'd rather be than by your side. Please know my breed is known to have lots of energy so I'm looking for a home that is a bit more active but on the quiet side. Maybe older children would be ok. I am going to need some basic training skills like potty training so my human will need to teach me. I have a condition known as cherry eyes. They are the red bulges in the corner of my eyes. It doesn't bother me and I see just fine. Its a hereditary defect passed from my parents. Its more cosmetic. Its just one of my flaws. Im not perfect on the outside but my heart is made of gold. 💛 I will be so loyal and the guardian of our home. My love for you will never compare to any other love you're had for something else!
My ideal home would be one with a family that'll love on me and give me lots of attention. Someone that can be patient while I decompress and get used to my surroundings. I would love of treats and someone to teach me what a dog is supposed to be like. My new home needs to understand I'm a lifetime commitment.
Fun Fact! My foster mommy says my boyfriend is my pillow 🫣

If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there is a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee -Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Mercy Full Project cover vet bills, maintain their facility and cover the cost of their operations to rescue more animals in need
