I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Dolly

I'm Available

PLEASE READ ALL NOTES BELOW THE ANIMAL PROFILE!

Hellooooo, my name is Dolly! If you look up the definition of loyalty, you will find my picture right next to it! I think I would make an amazing emotional support dog. No matter what you are doing, I will be there to help you! I even enjoy supervising my hoomans when they are doing chores around the house! Not in an annoying, hovering, needy way, but more of an endearing, checking in, we can accomplish this together kind of way. I LOVE to play with my foster siblings, cuddle on the couch, and sneak in a treat or two. I’m still learning how to walk on a leash but I’m getting better every day!

I am a very well-rounded individual. My foster mom says that I am ALL of these things: Playful, Loving, Nurturing, Friendly, Sweet/Kind, Laid back, Eager-to-please, Loyal, Confident, AND Intelligent! WOW! Am I a catch, or what!? My ideal home would be filled with people that will love me and give me the life that I deserve. I am here to love you unconditionally and can’t wait to show you what an amazing life we can have together! So, what do you think? You + me =furever?

DOLLY'S STORY: We are unsure exactly what happened in Dolly's previous life, she was found roaming around in a remote location where, presumably, her previous “family” dumped her after she could no longer produce puppies for them. A Good Samaritan picked her up and brought her to Pasco County Animal Services thinking she had a broken leg. When they went to spay her, they did X-rays of her leg and discovered it was not an injury but a bony lesion (mass). Dolly is not showing any symptoms thankfully and is living every day to the fullest! She is incredibly sweet and trusting despite what she has overcome.

ADOPTION FEE: $250

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: A safe, loving home capable of taking care of Dolly's medical needs.

MEDICAL NOTES: Dolly has bony lesions, interstitial lung patterns, and other abnormalities supporting cancer. She is showing no symptoms and the vet has given her a good prognosis.
