I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Doug

I'm Available

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING!

Meet Doug! Doug needs a loving and caring home to give him the life he deserves! He came from PRC after possibly being hit by a car. Unfortunately, both of his back legs were fractured and he was unable to walk. However, he got his surgery and now is doing AMAZING! He is walking great on his own and is truly recovering so well. This baby deserves so much, can you give him the best home?

From Doug:
Hi there! I’m Doug!

I’m a 1-year-old Terrier mix with a heart as big as my silly, wagging tail. 🐶 I’ve been through a lot in my short life, but I’m here to tell you that I’m ready to find my forever family and share all the love and loyalty I have to give. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and know a few commands like “sit,” “down,” and “stay” (though I might need a refresher). Once I warm up to you, I’ll be your most loyal shadow and sweetest cuddle buddy.

What makes me special?
I’m the kind of guy who thrives on quality time. Whether it’s hanging out in a calm space or playing with my doggy friends, I just want to be near you. I love other dogs (especially big ones!), but I do need a peaceful place to start off so I can fully recover and adjust. Don’t worry—once I’m settled, my goofy and affectionate personality will shine through. I promise to keep you smiling every day.

What’s my dream home?
I’d love a home with a fenced yard where we can explore together. My ideal family will be patient, understanding, and ready to give me the calm environment I need to thrive. Whether it’s an apartment, townhome, or house, I’m happy as long as I have love and a cozy spot to call my own.

A note from my foster mom:
“Doug is one of the best dogs I’ve ever had. After everything he’s been through, he still wags his tail every single day. He’s taught me so much about resilience and love. If you give him just a little bit of care, he’ll give you so much more in return.”

If you’re ready to welcome this sweet, loyal boy into your heart and home, let’s meet! Let’s make my forever home dream come true!
