Hi, my name is Fabio! I am a 4 month old pit/ aussie mix. The crazy thing about me is that my fluffy ears don’t work and my rescue thinks i’m deaf.
Fabio is an amazing puppy! He’s super friendly & playful. He loves playing with other dogs & wants cats to be his friend too! He can’t hear but that just means he’s not bothered by loud scary noises like fire works or sirens. He’s just as smart as other puppies and picking up on training with hand signals quickly. He is also a big water dog!
I’m looking for an experienced dog owner who knows how to deal with deaf dogs and that can teach me sign language. Because I am deaf puppy training will take a little longer but it’ll be well worth it! I need another dog in the home to learn from. He would benefit from a another well behaved dog in the family, who won’t get easily frustrated with him. He loves to play but can’t hear growls/yelps if he plays too rough!
Fabio was found as a stray. We believe they knew he was deaf and didn't know what to do with a hearing impaired dog.
Fun Fact! I love to dig in my water dish and get all wet!
Fabio's adoption fee is $400.
Requirements: Must have a fenced in backyard. Deaf experience with dogs. Another dog established in the home is a must! A larger dog would be better suited since he playing rough. He loves kids but think pre-school age or older would be best so they don’t grab/startle him while he’s asleep
