Kyra

Kyra was found at a shelter in California in 2014. She is a trained emotional support animal and volunteered at memory care centers. Two years ago, my former spouse and I separated and he kept Kyra due to my work schedule and living situation. In the divorce proceedings, he wanted to keep Kyra. I allowed that but after the divorce was final, he messaged me that he was giving Kyra and her cat-buddy, Luka, away. I took them in and tried to make it work with my schedule, but I cannot. She needs to be with her humans more often than I can provide. I love Kyra and she has been with me to help me raise my two kids. She was extra gentle when I was pregnant and the kids have played "nurse Kyra" with her countless times. She loved laying there while they examined her ears and paws. She is a wonderful, quiet girl.
