Oakley

Oakley is a sweetheart. When he feels safe he loves to take long naps. When his confidence builds up he starts using the doggy door and exploring outside a bit more. He doesn't stay out there long though, he feels safer inside. He is very gentle, when you give him food he takes it like a little gentleman. He loves to eat chicken, if he can eat chicken all day he would be a happy pup. Oakley loves going to the dog park and going on walks. He wakes up the whole house at 6am by howling and talking. He needs to go to exercise in the morning and in the evening at the very least, otherwise he will look for something to chew on. He does not play with balls but he enjoys other toys and playing tug-a-war. Oakley loves playing with other dogs, especially with little dogs. After close looking into his past, his mom and sister were separated from him when he arrived at the first shelter. He was then adopted only for two days only to be surrendered again. Then he was adopted again but he escaped the family because of poor living conditions and he wandered the streets for 2.5 weeks with half a leash attached to his body.
