Hey there, Future Family! It’s me, Rex!
I’m a super sweet 6-year-old Shih Tzu who’s all about love, cuddles, and adventure. I might be small, but I’ve got a BIG heart, and I get along with everyone—kids, cats, dogs, you name it! Whether it’s a lazy day at home or running errands, I’m the perfect buddy to bring along. Imagine us going to Target together, hanging out at the park, or just cozying up on the couch for a movie night. I’m down for it all!
My dream home? One with LOTS of love and attention. I’m totally crate, leash, and potty trained, so I’ll fit right in. Just keep in mind that stairs can be tricky for me, so I’d be happiest in a one-story home. Bonus if you have a big or small dog or a kitty friend—I'm friendly to all my furry pals!
If you work from home or have a flexible schedule, that’d be paw-some since I’m happiest when I have someone to chill with. But don’t worry, I’m learning to be okay on my own, too.
I am battling an ear infection and some other health issues but with I know that the right family is out there for me who's prepared to handle it.

A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
