Sunny

Sunny is a timid dog and takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people, but she is not aggressive. As long as she is allowed to approach on her own, she warms up quickly with some treats and attention. She used to live with another dog, and she currently lives with a chinchilla and does well with him. We are unsure of how she is with cats or children. She was a much different dog at the shelter, which we now know is due to anxiety. She was pretty shut down there, and they interpreted that as her being low energy. She actually is a pretty high energy dog who would do much better in a house with a yard than an apartment, which is where I live. Living in an apartment has not helped her anxiety, and I am desperately searching for someone to take her in. She is a great dog, very affectionate and playful, but she needs to be somewhere that has the time to help her with her anxiety and teach her about the world. She is crate trained and almost fully housebroken, but she is still learning. She rarely ever has accidents, but we do keep her in her crate overnight still to prevent them. I am running out of options and desperate to find a place for her for the sake of her health and wellbeing.
