Meet Willa! She came in as a stray and is heartworm positive. Despite that, she is an incredibly sweet and loving 6-8 year old dachshund mix who would love a home where she can snuggle up with you on the couch. Could you be her forever best friend? She promises to be the best girl.

Hey there, hoomans! I'm Willa, a 9-year-old Dachshund, and I’m ready to find my forever home! I may be a little lady, but I’m bursting with energy and love! I’m super friendly and love being around my people. I’m a loyal companion who’ll stay right by your side, but don’t worry—I won’t follow you around out of anxiety.
I’m potty trained, leash trained, and I know some commands like “sit,” “down,” and “stay.” I enjoy going for walks and exploring the yard, plus I get really excited when I meet new friends! I do need a bit of extra training when it comes to my crate since I get a little anxious in there. But with love and patience, I know I can overcome that!
My ideal home would let me sleep near my people, so I can feel safe and cozy. I’m great with older cats, small dogs, and older kiddos, so I think I’d fit well in just about any family!

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
